I was told by some of my elementary teachers back in Poland that I wasn’t good enough, smart enough, even brave enough to accomplish my dreams. I spent many years feeling hurt and angry.
I was quick to blame others for the way I felt. I created a story that fed my disappointment and permeated my music.
It turns out, I was good enough, smart enough and brave enough. I was first French horn in the Polish Army Orchestra, I played all around Europe for the Polish president and I even had a side hustle playing weddings. After a while though, I reached this point that I felt like nothing. Even though I was successful, by the standards of my culture and my career path, I realized I needed and wanted more from music. I wanted to create.
So, I sold everything, I quit playing French Horn in Polish Army Orchestra, quit my band and moved to US.
I created a list of educational tools I wanted to learn and the desirable direction of what to follow with them.
It took years to study music composition, music harmony, big band arrangement or jazz improvisation but in the end of the day I LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF LEARNING. I still love it today!
Over time, my mind became untouched by opinions of others.
Today, I know who I am and I know what I want.

There is nothing more attractive than a person with the specific vision, direction, along the path to their dreams manifesting.
